Which are the components of a Connected BUS solution?

Wavecom IoT Gateway – Supports up to 3 x SIM cards and Wi-Fi with integrated GPS

How can you communicate with the passengers?

Creating your own Captive Portals, using our CAS (Cloud Based Authentication System) module.

All the entities that provide Wi-Fi to their clients can collect useful data and segment it for their marketing campaign, since the Captive Portals can be used as a marketing tool.

Are the Wavecom IoT Gateways multi modem or dual SIM?

The Wavecom IoT Gateways are multi modem (up to up to 3 different 4G / 5G interfaces), providing cellular aggregation and failover in case of failure.

Tri-modem configuration connected to distinct IPS (Intrusion Prevention System) in Active-Active-Active, aggregating the bit rate for each interface.

How does the Passenger Count solution work?

For a Passenger Count solution, it is necessary to install optic sensors in every entrance of the Bus. Connecting these sensors to the IoT Wavecom Gateway, all counting data is forwarded to the IoT Manager platform
